We got a rental car, mostly because the hotel we are at is a bit of a distance. Plus we will be spending some days before and after SDCC in San Diego.

Yep. Next time I'll have to bring my daughter too, she is starting to get into this kind of stuff. My wife would rather just chill with her sisters. I dragged her to cons for years, I think she has seen her fill, haha.

My wife feels the same. One day of SDCC in 2010 when she was 7 months pregnant and 2 days last year and she is pretty much done!

I am officially in the "giddy" stage of waiting for SDCC. Looking at the exclusives and the map and the vendors and planning out my adventures.....

WOW, I'm excited for the madness. Can't wait.

The crowds and the energy in the room, the hustle, the fervor, the .... the..... just the startling sights of the room.

The first moment you get on the con floor is just.... wow.
