Sketches
I thought I'd share some of the sketches I've gotten over the summer.
I got this sketch from Jim Calafiore. I wanted him to draw Gunslinger on the Harbinger Wars side, but he accidentally drew him on the Shadowman side.

I got this sketch of Flamingo from Amy Reeder at Wizard World NYC.

I emailed Bob Hall for a Shadowman sketch.

I got this Shadowman from Billy Tucci.

I got this X-O from Bob Layton.

And, last but not least, here is my letter from Dinesh, Elery, and Bruce!

I asked Sean Chen for a Bloodshot sketch, which might be done soon. He said he's pretty busy. And, I have a Flamingo sketch from Scott Blair coming too.
Edit: 50 posts! Woo hoo!

That Shadowman sketch is just phenomenal. So jealous of that one especially
Re: Sketches
So jealous. This is what I want to do as well, but we just don't get that many Valiant related artists at our local Con. I feel lucky we're getting Barry Kitson this year.

Re: Sketches
Sweet sketches... Lovin' the Bob Hall, and jealous of the Bob Layton. That man is an absolute comics legend!

Again, that Shadowman Bob Hall drew for you is really, really great. And Layton's XO is pretty good too

I know many would disagree with me, but I don't know if anyone draws classic XO better than Layton.

Always loved Layton's classic X-O too, his and BWS's are the best imo.BugsySig wrote:I know many would disagree with me, but I don't know if anyone draws classic XO better than Layton.

Re: Sketches
Yeah, I don't disagree with you Bugsy, Layton is a top fav of mine. But I'd have to add Calafiore to Marks BWS nod as my other top favourite XO artists from VH1.MarkRoseHFX wrote:Always loved Layton's classic X-O too, his and BWS's are the best imo.BugsySig wrote:I know many would disagree with me, but I don't know if anyone draws classic XO better than Layton.

Re: Sketches
In my neck of the woods, Layton has been a semi-regular at HeroesCon in the past. Haven't been in the last few years so I don't know if he's made any recent appearances.tchalla8 wrote:So jealous. His X-O sketch looks sweeeeet; the whole lot rocks.
