Oh... MY... GOD :o Please not Flamingo :hope: Any chance they kill off Peter? The comic is titled Peter Stanchek right so anything is possible. It would change everything and no one would see it coming
A shameful plug to the book i am currently writing. Please like my page so when I try to publish it I already have a following... https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Blac ... 9693235948" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I don't want anyone to die but it adds realism to the comic.
If I just can't be me ,and the Arrow isn't enough.. then maybe I should be Ra's al Ghul

Lets start the speculation... :hm:

By my own odds:

1:2 - Flamingo
She has been pushing herself to be more heroic...so I could see her sacrificing herself or doing something stupid and getting doofed. She also would seem to have the least potential future story lines outside of a possible romance with Kris.

1:5 - Torque
There is still some mystery surrounding Torque (the end of #19 still felt "off" to me), but is it too obvious after what happened in Perfect Day? Or after VH1 for that matter? Also seems to have limited character potential after the recent focus on Torquehalla, etc.

1:10 - Kris
Killing Kris would probably drive Pete over the edge and create some interesting story opportunities, but would remove the team's key strategist (unless she were to be replaced by non-powered Ax). She's the philosophical leader of the team as well, and her loss could cause a lot of changes to the group.

1:10 - Faith
She's the heart and soul of the team, and the most likely to self-sacrifice. Her death would have the most resonance for the rest of the team and could push the characters in various directions. She's also the biggest fan-favorite, which would cause quite a stir. Could Animalia replace her childish innocence?

1:25 - Pete
There is just too much potential still in Pete's character. He is potentially the only real threat to Harada, is a continued pawn in the Bleeding Monk's long game, and is the only one who has kept the rest of the team from dying thus far. It wouldn't surprise me to see him die at some point, but not yet. He's also the individual who would take the death of a team member the hardest and this is what could push him to become the "Great Destroyer."

a bit of a stretch but i'll buy that. still results in an odds increase on her imo though, maybe almost even with Pete.

I think I am going with Kris on this one.

Feels 'done' to me. With the cover of her face - FINALLY - feels like she could be over now.

While I have no great desire to see one of the characters killed off, if it is done, then two things:

1. I really hope it is not some bait and switch ploy
2. Dead is dead in the instance

For the longer term, it wouldn't hurt for the line-up to evolve, which potentially means finding a way to side-line an existing character. If there is no real way for them to have a quiet but interesting reversable retirement, this may be the only narrative step to take.

My money is on Flamingo, Kris, or Faith (in that order).

Flamingo is the most expendable as a matter of storytelling and group dynamic. She is the one I would least like to see go out of the three, however.

Kris would work very well to tip Peter over the edge to become the Destroyer that was predicted. However, she is the brains of the group and the only one that is not a psiot which adds depth to the team (that fact however also makes her a little more likely - at least historically in comic books).

Faith is the least likely because she is truly the heart of the team. However, since Dysart is writing, that might make her the obvious one to die.

I definitely think it will be a female member because we are adding Animalia who is also female. I think they will try for a balance (keep it 3:2 instead of 4:1).

Just my thoughts.

I think Faith is the only one safe due to her being mentioned in A&A.Pete has many storyline left in my opinion.

That leaves Flamingo,Torque and Kris could be any one of the 3.But I wouldn't bet on it.

While I bet that any prediction I make would be wrong, it would be a little odd to do a fake-death with Torque only to kill him. Despite that Animlaia could have a more interesting take on a similar power-set. Peter seems safe, even if he is my least favourite Renegade. Faith seems a fan-favourite, so her death would be a very hard choice I feel. Of the remaining two, honestly Flamingo seems more likely. That said, in the long run there will come a point that Kris without powers seems to make less and less sense to have survived so long in the face of escalating psiot-powered threats, and all the risks that have gone alongside (e.g. Bloodshot; Harbinger Wars).

So basically I *think* Flamingo, would prefer Peter, but I have no real clue! :D

I've changed my mind upon reflection. It's going to be Kris. It could still be Flamingo, but Kris would be the best in terms of storytelling. Flamingo, at this point, would be similar to the Torque offing of VH1 - very expendable character, and pretty much put in the book to be killed. I don't think Dysart will go that route. (This is also why I think the HARDCorps members that are essentially already dead will last a lot longer than any of us think - at least if Dysart still has some control of the story).

I hate that Dysart *SQUEE*... in a good way.
