My first thought is that I will be very happy if this was true ... But I also don't want to jump to conclusions before there is an official announcement

I hope they can bring back the Fireseed characters and legacy without the Turok name.

Well, on the plus side, there's a good chance we'll get an omnibus of Unity in it's entirely
Wonder if this'll backfire on their plans of making Divinity and Savage the default clones of Solar and Turok in the nu-valiant universe?

Maybe Divinity and Savage aren't clones, but are covert introductions of these characters?omega_override wrote:Wonder if this'll backfire on their plans of making Divinity and Savage the default clones of Solar and Turok in the nu-valiant universe?

Even if they don't acquire the rights to Turok, I would still like to see something done with Joshua and the rest of the non Turok premise that they can use. But, if the do get the rights, bringing back the Turok game franchise would be epic.KXXX wrote:I hope they can bring back the Fireseed characters and legacy without the Turok name.

Re: Gold Key back at Valiant
Hmmm....they did drop the Savage tease a while back, then nothing...now this.
Interesting it's just Turok teased and not Solar or Magnus...remember the speculation over ownership rights post Random House/Classic Media split and then the DreamWorks purchase of Classic? The research I did suggested Turok may be owned outright by DreamWorks, while the other two were not.
On a related note, Dreamworks lost almost $300 million last quarter and are preparing to sell their huge California complex.
Selling the rights to Turok and/or the GK3 might just be a drop in the bucket for DreamWorks, but that bucket ain't exactly overflowing at the moment

Thanks, I remembered the speculation but couldn't find the specifics. Whther the tweet is connected to Turok or not, this is interesting info.BugsySig wrote:remember the speculation over ownership rights post Random House/Classic Media split and then the DreamWorks purchase of Classic? Interesting. I'll be looking forward to seeing how this plays out. Wonder how this might affect the line? And what about Divinity? Interesting.
I think they'd fit better in the 4001 timeline, personally. It'd be cool to flesh out a few different corners of it than just Rai. Difficult to work hem in as prominently now.

Re: Gold Key back at Valiant
Count me in the "believe it when I see it" category.
Dinesh also posted similar tweets with Jeff Bridges as The Dude and two llamas. Based on that, should we conclude there is a Big Lebowksi title coming to the Valiant Universe? Or Llama & Llama-strong? Or... should we conclude that he is having fun with the rampant speculation going on from earlier tweets about the retreat?

I'm betting that the Llamas tweet was a crack at Arizona who spent a good portion of a day chasing two escaped Llamas.Keith wrote:Count me in the "believe it when I see it" category.
