Which means there is circa 3000 BOD:LOTG in circulation, which I think means it's more scare than BOG:LOTG which was estimated to have 4000 copies! :hm:

BOD:LOTG #1 should have around 2800 copies since BOD #1 sold about 70,000 copies.

Cool! I thought I read 4k somewhere, but 2800 must be right :thumb:

Very positive news. Second issues are very telling, and their other recent releases of Ninjak and Bloodshot, as well as XO, have been selling really strong. Things are looking good.

Great to see! So far I've really enjoyed both BOD and BOD:LOTG. I think Valiant is hitting on all cylinders right now.

That sounds really encouraging. I was concerned given some of the sharp drops that can happen.

Fantastic!

Very happy to see this - I guess it also proves that somewhere around 3000 dedicated fans really wanted that BoD:LotG series too.

This is not a stab at that rather controversial promotion - I for one have been pre-ordering the LotG series and am loving it so far through 2 issues. It's been great to see BoD gettin some shelf space promotion at my store thanks to my ordering the LotG books - I hope it's helping raise awareness in many more LCS's across the board.

This does show that the promotion scheme is working. I wonder of we'll see higher numbers across the board post BoD? Stores will see they can move a lot more Valiant product than they thought. Which is great! Hopefully.

That should mean there are about 500 copies of this book (http://valiantdatabase.com/books/2008-b ... olo-rivera" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) then, correct?

I hope that is right, because I grabbed two for $10 each today and can get more.

I would guess it's higher than 500, I think something happened to the distribution of this book and some stores got it in the numbers of a 1:10. That's why you can find it for the cost of a 1:10 in certain areas.

Well, that's really gotta suck for those who paid regular pre-order prices.
