I've got a non slabbed copy or two, but not in any great shape probably. I'm just hopeful that this means what it seems to, and that the announcement comes soon to give us official info. I wonder if Sony legal will make VEI wait till after the Bloodshot movie comes out to release the 'Ninjak Vs.' webseries. Or if maybe it's coming out early 2018 since they are releasing the comics about it in January?

According to CGC Data there are over 800 9.8's including the SS and Qualified labels. Just saying.

A quote from Rebel Wilson which was released today.
"Some people online said there's character called Faith," said Wilson. "I forget which comic its from, but that's what they'd like me to play. I don't know who I should be - but someone who kicks *SQUEE*."
I think she's a popular choice for Faith, and that if she's interested in being in superhero film, Valiant should definitely approach her. She's a great choice, and she's already popular from her previous roles in young adult films.

They tend to get sent to CGC in bunches (50+ at a time).

There are "pockets" of untouched copies in some inventories.

Rebel Wilson as Faith would be a perfect casting. I'm not a fan of her type of movie, but she'd be solid for the part.

Bieber wouldn't be any different than Leto.

Watch "Mr. Nobody" and say that.

The thing about Leto is that he's a really good actor, but he doesn't have a signature superhero role. He was the Joker the way Ryan Reynolds was the Green Lantern. Besides Green Lantern, Reynolds has a history of movies where he cracks sarcastic jokes, making a perfect Deadpool.

Besides Joker, Leto has a history of playing very different characters believably even within the same movie. Sounds like Bloodshot.

As far as the Bloodshot violence goes, let us not forget that Keanu Reeves was only known for Bill & Ted before Matrix and John Wick.

As far as Leto's height goes, if the industry can make 5'3" Tom Cruise an action star, then Leto will be big enough.

I don't know if that's the announcement, but it was the last rumor for Bloodshot, and Valiant is still a 1% of the market publisher. To have ANY actors/actresses we've actually heard of seems like a stretch... much less award-winning household names.

To start this early with a name that big (even as an unsquashed rumor) opens the door for more big name actors.

It will start with EVERYONE asking, "What is Valiant?"

Imagine if the answer wasn't "tiny publisher of comics", but if the answer was "you know, the comics that got Leto after he did the Joker?"

"Oh, yeah. He was so much better as Bloodshot."

"I wonder what other big names they are getting for their other movies."

The thing is, Leto isn't included on the list of tonight show guests. Eleveen was nice enough to let us now the Bloodshot actor will personally announce his involvement on the Tonight Show. I don't see Leto's name there, so he's not an option anymore. Leto was just a rumor. A rumor that inspired a multi-page thread debate among forum members about whether or not his skill as an actor justified how obnoxious he is on set. Let's just forget about Leto.

Maybe it's Jason Sudeikis or Christoph Waltz. They're the most realistic choices. Jason though is mostly known for comedies, not sure if he plans on making the jump to action movies. Christoph Waltz is the only actor on the list who meets all the criteria. It helps that he has a history in action/thrillers. Sure Waltz is a little bit older than most actors in the genre, but that might not be too big of an issue.

I think we can all agree though, that Rebel Wilson needs to play Faith.

Is there any reason the answer is on The Tonight Show THIS week?

You have a point. We don't know for sure. I think people are assuming the announcement is imminent based on the tone of Dinesh's tweet. It's also the last week before Christmas. Last chance to purchase Eternal Warrior #4 while it's cheap, and holiday shipping ends. Almost as if you won't get the chance after December 23rd. :?

It's almost January 2018, and filming is set to begin next year. We've gotten enough teases to know we're in for a series of major announcements very soon. Honestly we're all anxious, and at the edge of seats our here.
Dinesh wrote:I imagine details will be public in the coming weeks, perhaps as long as a couple months.
I get the feeling we're going to start getting answers either this week or next week. It's worth keeping on eye on next week's guests as well.
