ok, i haven't had any official word from anthony as to whether or not these 2 pieces of art are prelims for my rai commission but i think the chances of him drawing rai just for *SQUEE* and giggles is pretty slim...

i cannot wait to see what the final piece if gonna look like, his stuff is so nice...i'm geeking out over here!

those are from the "valiant heroes" thread on digitalwebbing.com...he's just been posting stuff he's been drawing...so i really doubt he'd be drawing rai unless those were mockups for me.

i'm pumped, i love the rai fighting the robots, but even the standing rai is cool.

i'll let everyone know as more develops.

Looks good, but his muscles are too big in the first one. Rai always seemed like a real tone little Asian man to me.

Depends on who's version. Sears drew him as a muscle bound freak along with Magnus.

Notice how the robots are penciled but the main characters are inked? You're eye is drawn right to them. It's genius!

and the action is just packed. And the head being sliced off is freaking awesome and the background city makes me think it's a huge battle..
