Nice job Chuck I'm working on it but man those 9.8's are tough.

If I ever do one it will be for a 9.6 set...I dont think that I can do the 9.8 set anytime soon...especially since i would be mainly have to buy all of the slabs..that just seems silly..

A 9.6 set should be close to what you would actually pay if you were to send in you own comics to be slabbed. :thumb: However, sending your comics in yourself does not mean you'll get the grade you want :P

Yeah but it would be cheaper if I someone how had 9.8 copies of books to send them in myself. I just dont see myself spending that kind of money on valaints when I could be picking up nice looking copies of IM 55 or ASM 300, IF 14 and stuff like that..

my lame-o set is an attempted 9.6 set... haven't gotten very far yet, and I see your point about buying old SA stuff or whatever instead tho...

and IM 55... really good book even w/o the monetary value, imho. :)

I never had any CGC's before... I bought my first couple just so I could have some 9.6's as comparison to my raw books... but I kind of like having some important-ish books in slabs. Have yet to bite the bullet and send my own stuff in tho. Not confident in my grading at all, and I'm way not patient enough...

Dawg you are absolutely right, but to get high grade raw key issues in good shape on ebay it's either a hit or a miss :!:

The cool thing, about Pre Unity 9.6 CGCs, is: the list is kinda short. The complete collection is very do-able; it's won't hurt the wallet like a 9.8 set.

As for high grade key issues, you can bet I'M buying those too :thumb: (instead of 75 bucks a month on new comics; I buy high grade key issues at the comic stores) :thumb:

Just 69% more to go.

Also, for you newbies, if you guys are gonna buy CGC'd comics; buy them from CKB. :thumb:

Fast great shipping :thumb:

Hey, thanks much. I take it that you bought the Magnus 2 and 7 9.6. I appreciate it. I think I actually have less than 10 CGC Valiants for sale right now. It's stunning thinking back to when I had 3 CGC boxes full, just earlier this year.

Send me CGC Valiant want lists, and I'll do the dirty work. Time for me to try to put together another submission.

Why do I have this HORRIBLE feeling that the last 24% of my collection is gonna be my toughest yet?

The next 20% will be a lot tougher than all so far, and the last 5% thereafter will be ever tougher!

Nice set!
