Collect A Card & Comic

Just a heads up from Chicago...

I went into Collect A Card and Comic (6810 W. Archer, not the one on S. Archer) and discovered that they have a bountiful fifty cent section.

Lo and behold - TONS of pre-Unity and Final issues in varying degrees of quality. I pulled a bunch out myself (along with some Continuity and New Universe books I needed) and left happy (and $80 poorer, with an irate wife in tow...).

That said, there are a TON of issues in varying quality left in those boxes. I placed most of the better Valiant stuff in the fifth box from the left on the bottom row of the table.

Have at!

Crap... just yesterday I dropped a whole bunch of money at the Graham Crackers Comics sale...

I'm heading to the downtown Chicago location next week on a hunt for a TOS 39 though, so maybe I'll find that store and drop by then.... but I'm sure it'll be picked through....

50 cent pre Unity is a pretty great thing...

Although I miss the .25 bins myself...

I did clear out a bunch of the higher quality stuff (got a complete run of NM Unity issues - whichs plugged my pre-U Rai and Solar holes for the first time) and I think I may have taken every Hellblazer they had, but other than that, there shoudl still be a lot left for plugging collection holes.
