Valiant Cpmics on PDFs?:!:
Has anyone had the ambition to put there valiant collection into a PDF format and then share it so others could read it? Or so then you could read it without having to pull out the comic? Or is anyone started it or even thought about it? Would anyone be interested to start, help?

there were electronic copies of the books floting around out there...i've got dvd's burned with all the issues on them.
i don't remember where i got them from but i consider them by "backup" copies.
if i lose all my books tomorrow then i'll still have my backups to read.
maybe someone else can offer a little more info.

WWSLJD, MF?
Digitally preserved copies of every Valiant book are out there in 'torrents' and are residing on many sites. Comic 'torrents' have been around for years and you do not need them in PDF format to view them. Instead a program called CDisplay is used to view them.
I agree with how cinlac has his... if you own the books, then you can have them in a digital format, which makes reading such issues easier on a laptop if you are out of town or on vacation.
Another way to look at it is making sure that digital copies of these awesome books exists in case we go into another ice age and the 'works' need to be protected for future generations.

PDF is a waste of time with comics. Use CBR.Lostnproud wrote:Has anyone had the ambition to put there valiant collection into a PDF format and then share it so others could read it? Anyone know of any good Torrents where valiant books are available. I have been searching Torrent sites for the last 2 days and I am coming up with nothing. I am really looking for the entire series on X-O Man of War and The Second Life of Doctor Mirage. Oh and can someone tell me how to change my quote below my picture? I do not know how the quote about paulsmith got up there!? Please? Thanks.

That is a "fixed variable," as it only changes as you accumulate posts, and the ranks are already set. Sorry!Lostnproud wrote:Oh and can someone tell me how to change my quote below my picture? I do not know how the quote about paulsmith got up there!? Please? Thanks.

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.
