Nothing personal to you, and no offense intended, this is just a general observation.....

....but why is it when people say they "don't really care how much something is worth", they almost always price them much higher than what they are actually worth?

Unless it's a true laissez-faire "I don ...

Good luck with these....most of those books, in self professed "non-NM" condition, are 25 centers or less....folks just don't want to pay $$ for modern ubercommons that aren't VF/NM or better.

But, it's a great way to read them.

Whatever you don't sell, you can certainly donate for a tax ...

My entire Valiant/Acclaim collection (sans Solar)

Well, I used to surf this board daily quite a while ago (like a couple of years) - never posted much, but, yeah. Anyhoo, long story short, I realized yesterday that I've pretty much completely lost interest in Valiant, with the exception of Solar. I've spent the past two days going through all my ...

i may be a bit delayed, but . . .

1. for windows, collectorz.com comic collector. it's a great piece of software. priced better than comicbase (imo) and nice. i especially like it's xml export.
2. for mac/nix - i've used two different ones in the past, but have settled on one and have been using it ...

heh - he's all good in my book. i've been lurking these boards for a long time, just never had any money to buy anything, not much to add to conversations and been too busy with work.

the vouching thing is mostly for anyone that's new-ish that hasn't been here forever -- i doubt most of the old ...

It's under Data->Sort

Just make sure and select the entire worksheet or it'll just sort one column!

also, remember to check "headers" or "no headers" depending on whether you have headers or not. (i've screwed myself quite a few times on that)

since you're an excel newb, another nice feature is ...

Predator vs. Magnus TPB

well, last weekend, i was fortunate enough to find 2 copies of the predator vs. magnus tpb. I only really want/need one copy, so i'm looking to sell the other.

I can't grade, so i'm not even going to try - basically, it looks completely non-read, but has been moved from shelf to shelf a few times ...

Who DOESNT hate Toronto... LOL... nice China Town but other than that... snooze city. I remember going there my first time for my class trip and our group (which got a 'bit' rowdy) was actually asked to LEAVE the city. WTF, eh ?

8-)

off topic, but i love toronto. i actually got kicked out of ...

yeah, i was thinking pretty much on the same lines as you about it. i think i'll wait until it comes out on video (or even more likely, rlsed on divx).

on the bright side, i seriuosly doubt there's any way the movie could be worse than the dolph lundgren version froom the 80s.

i vaguely remember seeing a bunch of valiant names (or maybe acclaim names) associated with that hot wheels show that was on last year (might be still on, for all i know). something like ultimate race.

but, i occassionally see them mentioned in weird things.

i have no idea how tall he is, just that he's taller than most the other guys in the issues i've read (not a huge fan of bloodshot).

generally speaking, he doesn't have any abilities. he's just some joe who has nanites in his blood - it allows him to self-repair (a-la wolverine), talk to anything ...

the worst gimick cover i can think of was from marvel sleepwalker #19(?). it was a die cut perforated halloween mask of sleepwalker. aside from being completely gimicky - it was really crappy too - didn't even come with string to put it on.

granted, i think it makes me a worse sucker for actually ...

another note regarding this (and other scams)

everyone knows it's VERY easy to spoof an email address (such that i could send an email from "n-boy@ebay.com" or even "customerservice@paypal.com"). however, there's a relatively new vulnerability in internet explorer that allows not nice people to ...

my best guess is that it's still not possible (i just tried to do it, actually, so i'm pretty sure it's not).

in a lot of bb's (i know for a fact with vbulletin) when a user is deleted, all of his/her posts are reset to "Guest" (or something else).

there's also the possibility that someone regged ...
