Reading Order
Hey all, been away for a looooong time... and not had a chance to read Valiant whilst I was in Korea so didn't really head to the board too often (sorry!). I've moved to Vietnam now and should have some more free time to pick back up digitally. So is there a reading order for all the new Valiant stu...

Re: This is BIG
I agree with you guys that the article is crap and this is unlikely as yet. BUT Marvel do look to be pushing more and more towards digital as an actual alternative to print rather than 'as well as'. I still don't understand the thinking about taking one of their biggest characters and writers and m...

I quit about a year back and it was terrible then, so I'm not sure about 40 issues.

Re: V-Ditti Brings back Wally West!
Flash is the last hang on for DC for me. I love the 80s/90s Wally run and will definitely be reading this but honestly I'm not that confident even with Vendetti, even if it's good (as Flash and Batman have been) they don't really feel right to me due to the huge changes. I'd almost rather them leave...

In no particular order: Saga Invincible Chew Harbinger Quantum & Woody Superior Spider-Man Flash (And probably not for long looking at the new issue since Manapul/Bucchaletto) All New X-Men Wolverine & the X-Men Daredevil I'm shocked at the amount of Marvel and lack of DC in my top ten, a HU...

Re: Y the Last Man
Yup, just read the entire run not too long ago as well. Some questionable moves made by the characters, but overall, a very enjoyable read, and I really dug the artwork too. I would recommend this to anyone who hasn't read it as well. Brian K. Vaughan has turned into one of my favorite writers. Bec...

I read th new sandman book. It was ok. It did not feel like "sandman" to me, but really there is no way it could have. I agree, I know it's getting alot of love but it felt bland and wordy. Weirdly the overly wordy narrative seems to be getting praise likening it to the original story tel...

Re: Forever Evil is...
I've given up on it as I thought it was crap. But I think thats just my issues with the new 52. Whats particularly annoyed me is what they've done to The Rogues, we've just had 2+ years of character building to make us believe they have powers and now they are gone in a non Flash book and with littl...

some recent reads: Gotham Central vol 1: In the Line of Duty TPB - Fantastic stuff, great story and I really dig Michael Lark's art on it. Makes me very excited about the possibilities for that upcoming TV series. I'm really digging Michael Lark right now - he draws Lazarus. LOVE it. I can see his ...

Can't remember where I saw it. It was something like this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Batman:_The_Widening_Gyre#Publication_history Smith has described how he creates the scripts. Following Zack and Miri Make a Porno, he had "a sort of nervous breakdown, or as close to a mid-life crisis"...
