I think to get out of the current slump the line needs to be redrawn to define what is and who are good and what is and who are evil. Heroes vs. Villains is the way it should be not heroes vs heroes and bad guys run the show while they scrap. It worked as a single story but come on Marvel and DC ...

I was underwhelmed for much of the 2-part story. You read Gaiman's 'The Wake' series from the Sandman and compare it to -this- funeral and it makes the Batman story seem a bit slapped together.
