Ah yes... you've hit Birthquake. Birthquake was not a crossover, but rather an initiative to bolster sales by a) shrinking the line and b) bringing in some big name talent of the time. So titles like Harbinger, H.A.R.D. Corps., Dr. Mirage, Rai, etc. were cancelled, while Shadowman, Ninjak, X-O, etc....

For anyone interested, some issues of Psi-Force and D.P.7 are now available on Comixology. Not all, but it’s a start!

Great issue. Loved the “soon” scenes with Punk Mambo, and presumably this will help lead into the next arc with Shadowman and Dr. Mirage. If Reborn was Bloodshot on his own, Salvation seems to be way more tied into the rest of the Valiant Universe! And Magic has Ninjak on speed dial! :lol: But yeah...

Wow, that was great! Terrific first issue, a real page turner!

Anyone else remark with an “oh *SQUEE*!” when it showed Ninjak and Livewire in bed together? Wife and I both let that fly!

Couple of questions:

The Temple is South American of origin? How did it get stood up in China?
The monks that were guarding the temple/imprisoning the Alpha... Who? How? Why?

Think you mean The Fall of Bloodshot from Book of Death for the Rampage first appearance.

I don’t think there has been anything out there for us to speculate on. It seems Valiant is content having her available to appear in whatever series needs that supernatural element as the plot demands.

Well, that sucker cooked with gas! The H.A.R.D. Corps think they have Solomon cornered and move in for the capture. Turns out they have actually been played by Solomon, and have been used to unwittingly release the Stormbringer. Oops! I thought that was a pretty good read, and all around a nice coda...
