Daniel Jackson wrote:Rags was great, but I hated to see his talent being used on stuff like that cruddy Geomancer series. I still love the artwork, but what a waste of talent when he could've been used for some of the other great characters instead.
It wasn't the greatest series I'll agree, but I felt Rags' art raised it up. I probably enjoyed it more than say Psi-Lords. Isn't part of the problem that the core titles were so strong others seem weaker by natural comparison?

On a side note, and as an open question out of curiosity, would your opinion of the series be different if we hadn't already had the character of Geoff McHenry?
You're kidding me right? You're saying that if Psi-Lords was...say...published by a different comic book company....it would somehow be better?
Not better, but better received. Think of the crap the big two were able to churn out at the time with their sales figures.
Nah. For me a piece of cr@p is a piece of cr@p. And Psi-lords was dreadful. If somebody out there is gonna like a book more because its coming out from a different company...even though its the same thing...then they need to get their head checked.

SHOOTER: Hey Barry, your late with the cover to Soalr #10, when you gonna have it in?

BWS: I'll have it in a sec..

(runs over to desk, poars a bottle of ink on a board...)

BWS: here ya go boss...Oh wait a minute, let me sign it! ok, wheres my check?
