Yeah I asked about this. DC want it out in the 3rd week of a month (oddly a strong week, next week would have been better) it does make this first gap way too long though.BruceReville wrote:Justice League 1 came out last Wednesday in August - #2 comes out third Wednesday in October -- WTF?!Nice 7 week gap there DC.

Re: Discuss The DC Relaunch
I think this is still going great. My LCS still order a lot of #2 books, none have sold out. My LCS still has a lot of the #1 books from last week but very few. Detective #1, Aquaman #1, JL #1, and batgirl have been sold out.

Pull List: I only buy TPB's, HC's and Hellboy comics

Apparently Ray is a 4 Issue Mini-Series - found out when I placed my DCBS order.StarBrand wrote:Cool.BruceReville wrote:http://www.newsarama.com/comics/dc-comi ... 10919.html
Well in December there are 2 new titles:
Batman Incorporated Leviathan (1 Shot)
Ray #1
Everybody Is Right Until Someone Else Disagrees.
Re: Discuss The DC Relaunch
I haven't read any of the #2s yet.
I know out of the #1s there were a few that probably would have been better off unprinted.

Justice League has always been scheduled for the "third week of the month spot". Issue 2 isn't late, issue 1 was 3 weeks early.BruceReville wrote:Justice League 1 came out last Wednesday in August - #2 comes out third Wednesday in October -- WTF?!Nice 7 week gap there DC.
They just did a very bad job of communicating this to readers.

You know, it seems this way, but there is not a single issue that I haven't read or heard someone say they liked it.RSecor wrote:I know out of the #1s there were a few that probably would have been better off unprinted.

That's very true! Between what I've been reading from everyone here, reading on CBR reviews, and listening to on the CGS podcasts, there don't appear to be any absolute stinkers that are unanimously voted as being horrible.Dr. Solar wrote:You know, it seems this way, but there is not a single issue that I haven't read or heard someone say they liked it.RSecor wrote:I know out of the #1s there were a few that probably would have been better off unprinted.

Agreed on this, many bad reviews as always, but many good ones too and yes we also have heard good reviews on all titles from our customers

I trade as Dead Universe Comics in the UK, which is no surprise to those who know of my legendary Dead Universe habit.

Re: Discuss The DC Relaunch
Swamp Thing #2 - Holey Moley! The first 12 pages were exposition intense. Then when the story finally started, it was like a 5 second read per page. This was unbalanced big time. With that being said, it looks like the exposition is over so I'm sticking with it.
The art by Paquette as well as the page layouts are excellent.
4/5 or B+
