Acclaim acquired Valiant in 1994. The reboot didn’t occur until 1997, really. Existing Valiant lines continued through 1996. So, for example, the ends of the original lines were produced by Acclaim.

Gilad's chest is a bit large, and I'm wondering why Savage looked so much older.

But I'm enjoying Valiant characters interacting, and lots of nods to existing continuity. The universe is feeling like it's getting back on track, and the character's current stories are progressing.

It got most of the toys back out of the box to remind people who they were, and set up the Resurgence.

Be careful trying to suggest something obvious like Bad Idea conversations not belonging in the Valiant sections... Bad Idea seems to be a protected class here.

It seems most of the ideas are aimed at himself, and a small subsection of Valiant fans. mainly male, and over 45.

I personally don't think there's a large enough market for his ideas to be profitable.

That's gonna be slightly different for everyone.
but for me:
VH1 was garbage by Birthquake
VH2 never held my attention (Solar did feel like a bad continuation of VH1 Solar, if that's "good")
VEI was high quality for ...

At this point, VEI has been around longer than VH 1 or VH 2.


Leave Vh1 for the hardcore fans who have always loved it. I would hate to see new Vh1 stories by some new creators who just skimmed a few of the comics and read the Wikipedia.



VH1 isn't exactly a darling of "hardcore" comic fans ...

Since you brought it up... I've always hated cross company crossovers. They tend to feel like bad advertising disguised as a poorly written cash grab.
