Anybody notice the description on the second Magnus? "Bondage Cover"?!? Why would CGC point this out?

Tell me about it. Not sure why they'd feel the need unless some noob working for them had no clue. :P

Plus, they misspelled the cover artist. It should be "Bo Blayton". Dunces!

Valiant is so good it deserves to have a notation like that!! When was the last time you saw a modern age comic with a notation like that. And that is why we collect valiants. :thumb:

Wow. Yeah. I have no idea who some of those bidders are. Some set massive snipes that outbid even Worldsbestcomics.

As alway, all winners get freebies!

Congrats to all the winners. :thumb:

I know who they are. A few of them anyway. And I will say that if they wanted the book they were going to get the book.

Thanks for laying off the VM 2 Rico! That finishes my set! You are going to beat me if you get the registry problem straightened out, though!

Congrats on 100%.... :thumb:

I won them off E-bay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... &rd=1&rd=1

1 - 9.8
2 - 9.6
3 - 9.6
4 - 9.8

I figured (at the time) that $62.50 a book was crazy, but I think they would have gone higher than that if sold individually. ~Pete :thumb:

Yeah.. I was watching that auction actually. It's been up for a while.

My #4 9.8 went for $105 and my #2 9.6 went for $59... so about $164 for 2. If the other two went for the same amount, it'd be $328... so yeah, your set was probably cheaper.
