Re: 32 pages, no not really....
I used to have this problem when I first started reading comics again. They never felt like they justified their price tags.
Then someone told me to slow down and look at the art, rather than just viewing it out of the corner of my eye. The art really is half the story. This is doubly true as time ...

Re: The Beginning of the End?
With the big 99 cent sales Valiant has, I would not be surprised if a lot of people just stay digital. Why go print when your collection is already online? I know that's the way I am. I wanted to go print with Unity but I was only able to get #2 in print because the comic sells out that fast. So I ...

First off, I *loved* this issue. So amazing! I love Pak's vision of the future, it is just so cool! I can't wait to read issue #6.

Re: USA TODAY: Death Comes to Valiant Comics Harbinger Serie
Now that I've thought a little about this, maybe the title has lost a little luster for me (I still love the book, but it's maybe number 3 for VEI and below a lot of the rest of my pull list, whereas it used to be VEI's best by a large margin and was in my top 5 of all comics I read) because Dysart ...

Re: USA TODAY: Death Comes to Valiant Comics Harbinger Serie
Great, why surprise us? So Valiant will be taking the Marvel and DC route of spoiling everything in their books months in advance? Why can't a character just die? Why do we need an entire arc with a title telling us someone will die? So we shouldn't worry for any major Valiant hero unless the title ...

Given how smart @x is, I wonder if he could be a legitimate, if wayward, replacement for Kris in terms of level headed tactician.

You know... Peter's silhouette is not casting a shadow into the grave... I wonder if they just added the silhouette to hide the fact that Peter is dying...

This was a really great issue. I'm loving the fact that Livewire is back and has now been super charged! She was patently underused for a very long time. I love the way the rest of the team basically went, "Sure Harada, you keep the armor. You are the boss after all. We are all just one happy team ...

Probably not.
This is most likely something spinning out of Armor Wars. I wonder what though... Can't wait to hear more!

I don't trust this Ax character. He obviously has ulterior motives. My bet is that he will be the Gaius Baltar of the Renegades.
Solid issue. I find it crazy that Harada goes public. This will indeed be a massive game changer for the entire Valiant Universe. How will people react when they come to ...

Re: VALIANT December 2013 and End of Year Sales Discussion
One thing the diamond numbers do not show is how many people are buying the comics digitally. I personally am buying 5 titles regularly via ComiXology and only one title in print (the remaining two are held off for 99 cent sales). From Diamond's chart's perspective, I am only buying 1 title and thus ...

Re: Bloodshot and H.A.R.D. Corps #18 Discussion
I suppose one of the issues may be what would Bloodshot do without the PRS? All of his comics have dealt with him either trying to break free from, fight or work for the PRS. Without them, the comic would definitely need an entirely new direction.

Solo books are about drilling down into a single character's personality and history to create conflicts (both physical and mental) that fuel ...
