Not a variant and I did not read this whole thread, but - did anyone ever do an all black cover or include a number 0 serialized in 1 through 10 before?
Also, btw, those Valiant Vison glasses works for any comic that has red and blue in the art - which means they "enhanced" every comic book known ...

Re: New VALIANT Ancillary Product
So original VALIANT did the Darque Brew and Armstrong Ale thing. What could the new VALIANT do that be comporable to that?
Maybe have Pepsi or Coke produce a VALIANT-related softdrink? If so, who would it be based on?
Have Nike produce Turok moccasins?
A Timewalker watch?

I don't think I ever joined that board. I'm just messing with you guys. I have been a long time member of this board - you probably recognize the name becaue I had some opinions debated about the Vfscc (or whatever they are called) - plus I had the privilege of debating ZWH (nerd god complex) a few ...

Underhanded EBay tactics
I know we've done this thread many times but I got "took" recently by two of these (gentlemen). So I might as well share.
They don't post shipping costs. If the auction ends within their expected range, they send a legit invoice. If they don't like the bid, they make up with ridiculous shipping ...

I think I remember seeing one of those on sale on Ebay a while back. I think it came with a letter from Shooter to the store calling it a "preview edition" or the seller claimed it did. From the Pic, it appeared to be a printed facsimile and not a signature. It was just listed as a preview edition ...

I think Alan Moore's crystal ball was a little murky. He thought Cheney would be president when he wrote it   Moore ran with George Orwell's concept and it is amazing how prophetic they both were. Big Brother IS watching. BTW - has anyone here actually ever seen Alan Moore. I have only ...

Solar Statues sold out
Either the 70 or so fanatics here bought 5 each or there are more Valiant fans than we figured. DF refunded my paypal payment and removed it from their site. I checked (virtually) every store in NYC and they all said they sold out (quickly). This is the only one I've seen on Ebay:

Got mine in NYC. Thanks John. You know your audience well. I like that your mail sticker has the Valiantfans.com message board logo too. This is the sort of stuff that I'll never sell. I got a number lower than 50 - solid 9.6. Can't wait until one hits Ebay!!! Wow 2.80 in postage plus all this ...

Geez - me and my big mouth  Sorry, Depluto. Actually, I remember seeing in articles that several of the Ultraverse Gold holos were limited to 250 but all were numbered less than 1000. Forgottenuniverses.com lists them as "a scant few hundreds". I'll try to find more official corroboration than ...

Basically, when a few of you fine gentlemen get a life - this market will crash. I say if 5 to 6 key members of this board get really *SQUEE* off with Valiant and start dumping books, it will be 1993 all over again. Not hard to see who I mean - check the inventory list - and everyone else should ...

Gold Books
They had "Gold " books of the number 1's. They were basically card stock (I believe) with a gold facsimile signature of the creator on the cover. Limited to 2000 I believe. PS - I own the original cover to Teknophage number 1. I forgot I did until I "found" it in my garage recently. I barely ...

Fright Fest
Tried leaving Six Flags Fight Fest at 11:30 PM Saturday night (New Jersey) . Reached the highway from the parking lot at 2:30. Some lady was complaining she left at 10:30 to "beat the traffic". It is a half mile drive. It looked like Grand Central at rush hour in the park. Now that's scary. Thank ...
